Guys, I. FINALLY. Saw the Infinity War. I just. Yeah. It was a great movie, of course, just like all of Marvel’s movies. So before I start my whole ranty thing, I’m going to say, if you have not watched it, you, my friend, should click that X button up there and go do something else, because, SPOILERS await you, like, big time spoilers. I will hold nothing back. And if you have not seen the movie and are going to and you continue reading this, your life will literally be ruined, and then you will die. Multiple times. You shall turn to dust from the snap of a finger. Now, I am going to assume you’ve watched the Infinity War already, soooooo let me say, being both a Writer and a movie lover can be a hard thing, because hey, one side of you totally gets why a great character died and that part of you wants it no different. But then there's that irritating other part of you that is like: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, you become undead RIGHT NOW MISTER! WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THIS MOVIE? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! So yeah, lot’s of torness while watching this. Because then you have the villain part of you that is like, “oh YES! Let the world burning and the main character killing begin! Mahahaha!” and that. Is just weird, and sorta depressing ‘cause you know somehow this seemingly invincible and wonderful villain is going to be defeated. See? Depressing. So basically, for those who maybe have no idea what I’m talking about, yes, I am totally crazy and you should heed nothing I say. Friday’s post will be better, I promise. Buuuuuuuuut if you want to keep reading, this movie is from a line of a bunch of other movies, and basically it’s about a bunch of heroes who protect earth/the universe and the villain is an alien named Thanos who has a huge army and is going around gathering gems called, “Infinity Stones” which grant him different powers. Thanos’ world was destroyed because of such a large population and his people went extinct. So his whole goal now is to go around from planet to planet and wipe out half the population so that the other half can survive easier. And when he gets ALL the Infinity Stones, he can do this to the entire galaxy with just a snap of his fingers. The movie is about the heroes trying to stop him before he gathers all the stones. Okay so, it was a great movie (well yeah). As always, it was humorous and full of explosions. In this movie there was just a lot of stuff happening, like, wow. We had ALL the Avengers PLUS the Guardians of the Galaxy. PLUS Dr. Strange and his “sidekick” (I have no idea what his name is), PLUS Bucky, PLUS Thanos (the villain) and all his minions. Being that there were so many people there were multiple things happening at once in multiple places of the galaxy with multiple fights -- Just wow. So much stuff. So many explosions. And then so much dust as everyone evaporated from existence. It was beautiful. In the beginning scene Loki and Thor are fighting Thanos, they are the only ones left of everyone in the area and Thanos threatens to kill Thor if Loki doesn’t give him what he wants. Loki has come so far, he was never really an evil person exactly. One thing though is certain, even if he isn’t a “hero”, even if he doesn’t have a good heart, even if he’d tricked Thor again and again, he loved his brother. When it came down to it, arguments beside, he and Thor were brothers, and brothers protect each other. Which is what we found Loki doing, he wasn’t going to let Thor die - beat up a bit, sure, but die - NO. He gave his life trying to save Thor, at last he has done something right! It was great to watch Loki progress in his character development throughout the movies. In response to this death… [Reader self:] NOOOOOOOOOO, How could they kill him? He was the best character out of all of them! Kill Dr. Strange! Kill Captain America! But not Loki! … He’s coming back, they can’t keep him dead, Marvel will bring him back…. They will, I tell you they will! They have to! [Writer:] ABOUT TIME. Killing him was a great choice, it was needed for the story to progress, they had focused on him long enough. They better NOT bring him back, Loki needs to stay dead. Do. not. Bring. Him. back. Marvel, whatever you do, Loki must stay dead (and also, I would have done the same thing had I written the story, kill him that is) Thor seems to die. [All of me:] oh well, he’s coming back, no question about it. So yeah, then Guardians of the Galaxy come into the scene, and y’all, I seriously don’t like those guys. Let’s just say, I was very happy to see them vanish away into dust, it was very satisfying. Also, I think Stark handled the Star-lord ruining everything quite well, if it had been me… to put it simply I would have been like, “DIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!” And he would be dead. Seriously though, everyone died because of HIM. So irritating. But during all the scenes where they fought Thanos, my reader self was : “WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? Either go for his head or his arm! Cut his arm off and you get the gauntlet, cut the head off and he can’t do anything. But hit him literally anywhere else and you're going to LOSE! REally people, in real life people would get smart and go for the head or arm, these guys all keep making the same mistake over and over and OVER.” [Writer me:] “I totally get it, you can’t have them go and cut off the arm or his head because then the story is over. To keep the story going you have to make them fail" THANOS. Ah Thanos. So misunderstood, so hurt, so strong willed, so...so...so….trying to save others from the fate his world met. I like Thanos. I’m sorta glad he won, because first of all, I like his character, second of all, as a writer I know the heroes can’t always win, that’s true in real life as well, for the most part you will lose. You don’t always find a way to pull through and defeat the enemy. That’s just not how it is. So I wouldn’t change that part of the movie. Anyway, in the end, Thor comes charging in to avenge his friend's and his brother’s death - which is so great because it just shows how close they were, but he makes a huge mistake. If only he’d gone for the head, everything would have been fine then. But he didn’t, Thanos himself said, “you should have gone for the head.” With a snap of his fingers he was gone, and so were the guardians, Spiderman, many of the Avengers, and half of the population. All turned to nothing but dust. So sad and yet so great, Writer me was like “YES! At last someone willing to kill off almost all the main characters hahahaha!” regular me: “ . . . . . . .” Villain me: “YES…. The villain has won at last! We shall ruuule - no wait, now Thanos is sitting on his ruined home planet watching the sun rise, what a way to celebrate *shakes head*” If you have somehow survived all that, here's some quotes: Rocket Raccoon: This is Thanos we're talking about. He's the toughest there is Thor: Well, he's never fought me. Rocket Raccoon: Yeah, he has. Thor: He's never fought me twice. --- Eitri: You understand, boy, you're about to take the full force of a star. It'll kill you. Thor: Only if I die. Eitri: Yes. That's what... killing you means. ---- Thanos: The Tesseract? Or your brother's head? I assume you have a preference? Loki: Oh, I do. Kill away! [sees Thor's traumatic suffering, screaming in agony] Loki: ALRIGHT, STOP! Thor: We don't have the Tesseract, it was destroyed on Asgard! [Loki reveals the Tesseract in his hands] Thor: You really are the worst brother! Loki: I assure you, brother, the sun will shine on us again. Thanos: Your optimism is misplaced, Asgardian. Loki: Well, for one thing, I'm not Asgardian. And for another... we have a Hulk. [Hulk attacks Thanos] ---- I'd have to say the saddest thing wasn't when they lost, it was when Parker (spiderman) started to turn to dust and starts to freak out begging Stark to help him. I mean, Stark already is messed up from all his past battles and such, and now the kid who was like his son evaporates in his arms. He can't recover from that. So for that I really do hope that in part 2 of the movie they reset all these deaths (maybe just leave the guardians gone), and I'm pretty sure they will be doing something like this. But in closing I was going to share some ways this story could go which you don't want to know about, so here ya go: Now there are some different ways I've debated about, but one is to have where the ones gone stay gone, no bringing those who have died back, the survivors will have to move on and maybe kill Thanos, but they won't be able to fix anything. Another option would be to start up with it being years and years after it all happened and at last they find a way to get to Thanos and defeat him and then they use the stones to fix everything. If Marvel is going for a goal to make a sadder story, it'll be somewhere around the first one, where all those dead stay dead (but of course they can't do this because they got rid of characters who they want to make personal movies with so...) SO Imma thinking second, its going to be horrible having to wait till the next movie releases. I still want them to bring Loki back --- well, I mean, no I don't its.. ahk, It's a better story structure thingy if they don't *sighs*. .
. . . . . . Okay well that was a long post of a bunch of nothin, oh well..... Yes I did just make you waste precious moments of your life that you can never get back, heheheh. SO, have you watched Marvel's Infinity War yet? What did you think? Aaaaand IF you have no idea what Marvel is or any of these people are....uhhhh, yeeeeah, just um, imagine you never read this, because it probably sounded pretty weird to you, (it's one of those things where you've gotta watch it to understand). And no, this is not my usual post, just something I decided to do, because I wanted to, so, this annoying post will end now. *Evaporates into dust* (don't you criticize my choice of words! they do too fit! ) *All pictures found on pinterest

I know! It was super dark, but so was the Winter Soldier. That's one reason it was so nice to have Parker in there fighting with them, he helped to lighten the mood.
