I probably should write something about the beginning of the month and things to do or whatever. But instead, I'm going to tell you about my morning (don't worry, better posts are coming!)
This morning began with a battle, an easy over-soon battle, but a battle nonetheless.
I rose at the break of dawn, an enemy intruder had entered our camp. I had to handle this situation with care, so as to not start a camp wide panic. Yes, this, was a delicate matter.
Guessing the intruder would foolishly not leave quickly...
I went back to bed.
I got a good few hours of sleep and then rose, well rested, to meet my rival.
The evilest and vilest of all nefarious bugs.
It would DIE for entering my DOMAIN!
It was high morning, the room was deserted, giving me a chance to get at my enemy without causing a panic. I brandished my trusty “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” book and together we climbed the mountain of doom, and approached the enemy in super stealth mode.
I raised my weapon and in one rushing plummet all of Narnia came down on the vile beast.
And so my enemy was destroyed and I was VICTORIOUS!
(NOTE: do not worry, my actual Narnia book, my hard cover, remained safe on it’s shelf)
I am the great bug assassin. ALL bugs die beneath my gaze!
I can often be seen with a shoe (or book if I must), pounding a bug or insect to smithereens and yelling “DIE VILE BEAST!” or just yelling “DIE” over and over again until they are in a hundred something pieces.
And let me tell you, it is quite satisfactory.
I have ripped apart my room in the middle of the night to get a roach - and I have three younger siblings sleeping in there, but their sleep is not more important than exterminating our enemies! (also, somehow, these nightly battles have never awoken them, they must be reeeeally deep sleepers, cause it sometimes sounds like a bowling ball is being thrown about the room).
Once while we were on our family vacation, we had just turned off the lights and I looked across the room and saw a roach running across the floor (yes it was in the dark at night - they still can’t figure out how I saw it, but roaches give off a sort of blackness in the dark).
I yelled “ROACH!” and had run across the room and clobbered it into non-existence with my brother’s boot by the time they processed what was happening and turned on the light - it was such a good feeling...to see that roach dead.
Though roaches are my MAIN enemy, pretty much all other bugs are gladly smashed.
Just be thankful it's not towards YOU! *chuckles darkly*
What do you think of bugs?
Got any bug - killing stories? (or any stories in general).
Anything you'd like me to post about?
Ps. If you haven't noticed, I've added a "are you a writer?" page, if you're writing something GO CHECK IT OUT!
